ART have been training riders safely for 20 years in May, so you can rest assured we know what we are doing. If you're still not sure what you need then please phone for a chat or to book your free assessment, our office is open Monday to Saturday inside P&H Motorcycles. We're the small school that's big on customer service.

All of our motorcycle lessons are tailored to your individual needs and all of our on road motorcycle lessons operate on a guaranteed maximum of a 2 students to 1 Instructor basis for all tuition. All of our instructors are passionate about bikes, have 100 years of riding experience, & over 60 years of teaching experience (the important bit!) between them and work exclusively for ART, guaranteeing you peace of mind.

Our training centre in Copthorne is a purpose built, self contained facility with a comfortable indoor classroom equipped with, drying room, changing facilities, computers for hazard perception & theory test training, kitchen area for that all important tea or coffee, free Wifi and a 12,000 sq ft tarmac surfaced, safe off road training area for practical on-site training sessions which is open seven days a week. Which for your safety, means starting every single day in a safe secure off road area. Not just weekends, other schools only rent school playgrounds part time at weekends and will take you straight onto a public road Mon-Fri! What price can you put on your safety and convenience?

Included in the price of all our training is fully comprehensive safety kit of new helmets, armoured motorcycle jackets, armoured motorcycle trousers, gloves, motorcycle boots and lightweight waterproofs. See here for our step by step guide to all motorcycle training courses.

On January 19th 2013 the motocycle test changed to a graduated system, this means what bike you can ride will depend on what size bike you take the test on and also your age.
